These two are in progress!
I will hopefully finish them during
the Allegany County Arts Council's Artist Studio Tour on October 9 and 10, 2021.
As the Artist in Residence for the Evergreen Heritage Center, I will welcome visitors to The Studio during the tour! These are rice paper prints mounted on canvas, and will be completed as  mixed media pieces.  I will also be demonstrating my passion for the unique and ephemeral oil and cold wax technique.

Welcome for 2021

WALKING THE LIMINAL
Oil, gold leaf on linen.  24x36

Welcome back in January of 2021.  The year of 2020 was  indeed a year of walking the liminal;  a challenge of endurance and innovation for every person and family that I know, as well as for the arts, poets, children, artists and art educators.  As I work in all of those frameworks, I am thankful beyond words to be working and creating in the venues I love best.

In 2020, I maintained my arts enrichment classroom programs in the public schools in person until February, and then shut down. For my Arts Summer Camps, we did art boxes with looseleaf notebooks created by me of all original arts/art history/creative writing experiences and all of the materials to create over 7 pieces of art and writing, incuding writing journals. Most of these went out to families via scholarships, provided free of charge by grants. SHARING THE ARTS IS A MISSION.

I had a personal show scheduled for August which of course was cancelled. Hopefully back on track for August of 2021, at the Gilchrist Gallery in Cumberland, MD.

I also accept mural commissions for commercial or personal spaces... both small and large... NO job is too small.

Meanwhile, here is a  new selection of various pieces. Enqueries welcome. triskelestudio13@gmail.com

BRIGHTENING SKIES
came about recently as an invocation to the sun and warmer days, as winter does her worst to discourage energy and productivity. In truth, though, winter is a good time for creativity, as it makes me look more deeply within, with heightened mental clarity running high. Fighting ice just to get to the car is no fun, but indulging the hibernating urge in order to create is wonderful.  While the outer skies might be grey,
the inner fires are blazing!

Mixed media on canvas, framed.  14"x26"  Available for ownership. $275

In progress...gold leaf, ink, drawing, acrylics.

Completed.   SOLD on MARCH 28TH, 2019.

Winter Garden has found a new home! Thanks to The Gallery Shop in Oakland, MD for making this piece available! The shop is maintained by the Garrett County Arts Council, and features absolutely some of the best in fine art and fine craft available in the western part of Maryland. Artists must jury in, and maintain a high level of work.
